Sharlis Hahn, age 67, formerly of Hampton, passed away Friday, January 5, 2018, at Tiffany Square in Grand Island with her family by her side.
Funeral Services will be held 10:30 A.M., Wednesday, January 10th at Zion Lutheran Church northeast of Hampton. Rev. David Feddern will officiate. Interment will be at Zion Lutheran Church Cemetery. Visitation with family will be from 5 - 7 P.M. Tuesday at Higby-McQuiston Mortuary in Aurora. Memorials may be made to the family to designate at a later date. OBITUARY: SHARLIS HAHN
Sharlis Mae Hahn, the daughter of Raymond and Irene (Grigsby) Budnick, was born at Aurora, Nebraska on June 3, 1950 and passed away in Grand Island, Nebraska on January 5, 2018, at the age of 67.
She grew up and graduated from Hampton High School.
On July 21, 1968, she was united in marriage to Kenneth Warren Hahn at the Zion Lutheran Church at Hampton. They lived in the Marquette area. Kenneth passed away on January 15, 1990.
Sharlis was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church. She enjoyed crafts and baking. Sharlis loved to share her baking with family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Kenneth and brother, Don Budnick.
Those who remain to cherish her memory are her two sons, Toby (Carol) Hahn of Hampton and Josh (Rachel) Hahn of Gordon; daughter, Billie Bankson (Donny Leach) of Lincoln; 4 grandchildren, Kaitlin Widick of San Diego, CA, Paige Hahn of Hampton, Hayden Leach of Lincoln and Ian Hahn of Gordon and two sisters, Shirley (Phillip) Welding of Grand Island and Geri (Greg) Rehrs of Kearney and other family and friends.
