David Patton, age 61, of Longmont, Colorado, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 9, 2017 after a series of strokes.
A Celebration of Dave’s Life Service will be held 10:30 A.M., Thursday, September 28th at Chapel of Higby-McQuiston Mortuary in Aurora, Nebraska. Rev. Jim Garfield will officiate. OBITUARY: DAVID PATTON
David Len Patton, the son of Dale and Evelyn (Dubas) Patton, was born in Ralston, Nebraska on May 8, 1956 and passed away in Longmont, Colorado on September 9, 2017, at the age of 61.
Dave was partially disabled at age 22, due to a car accident and had worked various jobs throughout his life. Dave spent most of his life in Aurora, Hastings and Longmont, Colorado. He was a kind hearted soul and a friend to all. His family loved him very much.
Dave was married to JoDee Hayes and from that union three children were born: Adam, Kasey and Amanda.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Evelyn.
Those left to cherish his memory are his father, Dale (Reve) Patton of Aurora; two brothers, Michael (Lalana) Patton of Centennial, Colorado and Steve Patton of Aurora; sister, Glenda (Terry) Sapp of Windsor, Colorado; three children, Adam, Kasey and Amanda; three nephews, Jeff Sapp of Windsor, Colorado, Christopher Patton and Andrew Patton both of Salt Lake City, Utah; grand niece, Zoe Sapp and grand nephew, Orion Sapp both of Windsor, Colorado. He is also survived by other family members and friends.
