OBITUARY: ALAN DANIELSON

Alan D. Danielson, the son of David Murray and Ruth Edith (Milligan) Danielson, was born in North Platte, Nebraska on October 20, 1960 and passed away in Aurora, Nebraska on June 21, 2022, at the age of 61.

Alan earned his Bachelor Degree from Wayne State, Masters Degree from University of Nebraska-Lincoln and a Ph.D. from Montana State. Alan returned to Aurora to be the care giver for his mother, grandmother and aunt. He spent some time in Houston to be near his brother, Gene. While in Houston, he worked at Extended Aftercare where he helped many individuals recover from alcohol and substance abuse. He returned to Aurora where he enjoyed managing the family farm and his animals.

He was a kind soul and had the biggest heart and was happiest when he could help others. Alan was a jack of all trades. He was an excellent cook, enjoyed the competition at the local and state fairs with exhibits of canning and baked items. His breads were always a winner. He enjoyed supporting the Hamilton Co. Food Pantry with his pickup full of cans of food. Alan loved animals of any kind. His humor was to show little kids how to feed a pig marshmallows out of their hand.

He was preceded in death by his parents; nephew, Brian Danielson and grandparents, Dave & Myrtle Danielson and Harry & Edith Milligan.

Those left to cherish his memory are his two brothers, Gene Danielson of Houston, Texas and Dr. Kent Danielson of Vicksburg, Mississippi; two nephews, Nathan and Stephen; niece, Caryn and several other relatives and friends.
