Brent Cameron Ediger was born to Alvin D. and Gladys (Regier) Ediger in Aurora, Nebraska on May 23, 1964 and passed away in St. Louis, Missouri on February 4, 2021, at the age of 56.

Brent accepted Christ when he was 6 years old while at Bible School. He grew up attending Pleasant View Bible Church in Aurora.

Brent was a very caring and loving guy who loved to laugh, smile and talk. He loved being goofy and having fun. He made friends easily and everywhere he went, he loved to help his family and friends when anyone needed help. One of his greatest traits was his ability to easily forgive.

Brent grew up in Aurora where he attended the Aurora schools and graduated in 1982. While he was growing up, he loved taking care of his cats and playing the piano with his favorite song being "The Entertainer" by Scott Joplin. He loved to spend time on his Grandpa and Grandma Regier's Farm. He attended Nebraska Wesleyan and went on to graduate from UNL. While in college, he worked at Miller & Payne in Lincoln. He lived in Omaha, Kansas City, and St. Louis during his adult life. He worked as a Claims Adjuster for Allstate, drove pilot cars with his dad, was a Physical Fitness Trainer, and a representative for J. Hilburn Custom Clothing. At the time of his injury, he was still selling J. Hilburn and driving Uber cars as a fun sideline.

In 2011, our family lost a grandson, Jordan Vickinovac, in a tragic accident. Needless to say, the atmosphere needed someone who could add some humor. Brent came up with a series on his Facebook named "The Really Desperate Housecats of Weatherby Lake". It consisted of pictures of his cats in various poses with humorous story lines. It was amazing how it caught the attention of so many!

Brent enjoyed rock climbing and, on several occasions, went with his brother, Bruce, and their dad to Estes Park, CO. He loved going to car shows, driving Lincoln Continentals or Town cars. He loved going on vacations and has seen a lot of the world. Brent loved spending time with his nieces and nephews, teaching them how to drive "the Regier way".

He had his 2 adorable dogs, Cora and Ruff. They went everywhere with him as he had them very well trained. They were his world! He volunteered at an animal shelter in Kansas City. He was one of a kind.

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving mother, Gladys; brother Bruce (Lori); niece Mandi (Travis); great nephews Avery & Landry; great niece Alaina; sister Deidre; nephew Ben (Trudy); niece Amanda; great niece Bristal; nephew Alex (Siarra); sister Dacia; nieces Neleah & Isabella; nephew Trey; brother Jay (Audrey); nieces Chloe & Avery; nephews Cooper & Colin; sister Autumn (Christian); nephew Nicholaus; and niece Emily as well as his special dogs, Cora & Ruff.

Other survivors include his uncle & aunts Jake (Esther) Ediger, Bob (Evelyn) Ediger, Virg (Evelyn) Ediger, Katherine (Ed) Rempel, Rose Epp, Gene (Carol) Regier, Ken (LaVera) Regier, Theresa Regier; many cousins and lots of friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Alvin; his nephew, Jordan; grandparents David K & Helena Ediger & Jake & Tena Regier; uncle & aunt Walt & Jo Ediger; uncle Dale Regier; uncle Norman Epp & cousin Todd Regier.
