Amelia 'Amy' Grudzinski

Amy Grudzinski, age 48, of Aurora, passed away Monday, November 29, 2021 at her home after a battle with cancer.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Thursday, December 2nd at Pleasant View Bible Church in Aurora. Rev. Bob Gannon will officiate. Interment will be in the Aurora Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 - 7 p.m. Wednesday at Higby-McQuiston Mortuary. Memorials may be made to the family to designate at a later date. Amelia 'Amy' Dawn Grudzinski, the daughter of Ray and Monica (Caretti) Ambroziak was born on August 12, 1973 at Cleveland, Ohio, and passed away in Aurora, Nebraska, on November 29, 2021, at the age of 48.

Amy grew up in Cleveland, Ohio and graduated from Regina High School Class of 1991.

Amy married Clayton Grudzinski on June 2, 2003 at Las Vegas, Nevada. They made their home in Aurora, Nebraska. Amy worked at KB Toys, Waldenbooks and most recently as the manager at Famous Footwear in Grand Island.

Amy was a member of Pleasant View Bible Church, where she was a Cubbie Leader and was also a band mom at AHS.

She was preceded in death by grandparents, Chester & Lucy Caretti; uncle, Gary Coakley and sister-in-law, Stephanie Hilliard.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Clayton of Aurora; four daughters, Alyssa Caretti of Clay Center, NE, Arianna Harvey of Aurora, Ashlynn Grudzinski of Aurora and Avery Grudzinski of Aurora; step-daughter, Amanda Collins of Aurora; two granddaughters, Bristal and Emmalyn. She is also survived by parents, Ray & Monica Ambroziak of Medina, Ohio; special friend, Linda Green of Ord, NE; mother-in-law, Shirley Grudzinski of Aurora; sister-in-law, Crystal Dieckmann; several nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.
