Deloris Howell

Deloris Howell, age 81, of Aurora, passed away Friday, June 24, 2022, at Westfield Quality Care.

A Graveside Service will be held 3:00 P.M., Thursday, June 30th at the Aurora Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 - 3 P.M. Thursday prior to the service on at Higby-McQuiston Mortuary. OBITUARY: DELORIS HOWELL

Deloris Jane Howell, the daughter of Devere and Doris (McKillip) Larington, was born at McCook, Nebraska on May 30, 1941 and passed away in Aurora, Nebraska on June 24, 2022, at the age of 81.

She grew up in McCook and graduated from Red Willow High School. Deloris attended Oregon Illinois Bible College.

On July 29, 1962, she was united in marriage to Gary Howell at McCook, NE. They had three sons: Randy, Mike & Kelly. Deloris stayed at home to raise their sons. Once the boys were older, she took some part time jobs outside the home.

Deloris enjoyed her grandkids, listening to music, reading her Bible and later on watching car races, horse races and old-time cartoons on tv.

She was preceded in death by her parents; infant granddaughter, Shiela Ann Howell; two brothers, Devere Larington, Jr and Nile Larington and two sisters, Roeene Frank and Jeannette Bennett.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Gary of Aurora; 3 sons, Randy Howell & Sue Donahue of York, Mike (Lisa) Howell of Polk and Kelly (Carrie) Howell of Kearney; 9 grandsons & 4 granddaughters, Isaac (Jewel) Howell, Keenan Howell, Quentin (Taylor) Howell, Hannah Howell, Tanner Howell, Gordona Howell, Allie Howell, Colin Howell, Raymond Howell, Rax Howell, Reece Howell, Rhea Howell and Jay Kliewer and 6 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by 4 siblings, Ardis (Fred) Roche, Linda Larington, Loren Larington and Dale Larington and many other relatives and friends.
