Mary Anne Jackson

Mary Anne Jackson, age 95, of Omaha, formerly of Aurora, passed away Friday, December 10, 2021, at Fountain View Assisted Living.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, December 15th at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Aurora. Rev. Mark Seiker will officiate. Interment will be in Aurora Catholic Cemetery. OBITUARY: MARY ANNE JACKSON

Mary Anne Jackson, the daughter of John P. and Sarah E. (Kelly) Size, was born in Bloomington, Illinois on July 31, 1926 and passed away in Omaha, Nebraska on December 10, 2021, at the age of 95.

Mary Anne grew up in Bloomington and Chicago, Illinois. The family moved to St. Louis, Missouri in 1934, where she graduated from high school. Mary Anne entered the Federal Civil Service where she worked for the U.S. Army and Air Force. She worked in Anchorage, Alaska, Guam, Spokane, Washington and St. Louis, Missouri.

Mary Anne was united in marriage to Jess B. Jackson, Jr. on April 24, 1965 at St. Margaret of Scotland in St. Louis, Missouri. They had two sons: Christopher and Patrick. They made their home in St. Louis, until they moved to Aurora in 1989. Jess passed away on December 15, 2013. In 2019, Mary Anne moved to Omaha to be closer to family.

Mary Anne was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, St. Mary's Altar Society and Legion of Mary.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband and three brothers, John P. Size, Jr, Michael Wm. Size and Thomas J. Size.

Those left to cherish her memory are her two sons, Christopher J. (Maria) Jackson of Omaha and Patrick J. (Yuki) Jackson of San Diego, California; 4 grandchildren, Joshua, Matthew, Elisabeth and Rebecca and great-grandson, Shiloh. She is also survived by other family members and friends.
